Sadie Rae

Growing up on a 300 acre sheep farm in a 500 acre town of less than a 1,000 people, Sadie was the lonely, anime obsessed, goth kid. She passed time writing fantasy epics, pitching hay in heavy eyeliner and being homeschooled. From cosplay, to runway modeling she put herself through the TT Acting Conservatory in NYC, graduating at the age of 18. After school, she accepted a carpentry apprenticeship with the immersive theater company Woodshed Collective, working on cult famous shows such as “Empire Travel Agency,” “Alexandria Project” and ARS NOVA’s “K-POP.” After finding a love for set carpentry Sadie tried her hand in the film world. She has since worked as production designer for short films, theater productions and feature films. Sadie has now shifted her focus to writing, directing and developing animation.

Alex Peurye

Alex Peurye grew up in the John Hughes suburbia of Chicago. He works at the American Film Institute in Production Finance and Distribution. He is a CPA and a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington with a Bachelors in Theatre, Accounting and Finance; and the Tom Todoroff Conservatory. He brings project management experience from Fortune 500 clients. He worked with both PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte, as well as owns his own accounting practice. He produced the College Emmy Award winning drama short Balloon.

Josh Deane

Josh Deane grew up in the farmlands of Ohio as the homeschooled son of church leaders. He escaped this life and now writes, plays music, makes films, and teaches middle-schoolers how to do the same. He has released eight albums, scored films and stage plays, self-published a book of poetry, and has written and directed multiple festival-worthy shorts--including episodes of the IFP selected Utilities Not Included. He has produced two features, and is among the quarterfinalists of this year’s Nicholl Fellowship. Josh is currently banned from the “quiet little village” of Harrison, NY due to incurring the Mayor’s wrath in a parking dispute. His favorite pass time is watching monster movies with his children. You can see his personal artwork here.
